First, complete our online garden survey, to help us assess your needs and create the vision for your garden. Then, we'll schedule an on-site consultation. We'll visit your home, examine the sun exposure of your garden site, take a sample for a soil test (so we know exactly what nutrients your soil needs), and design a layout that ensures both productivity and beauty -- your garden should be a pleasant and attractive place to be!

Next, we'll work with you to design a plant palette and planting schedule that meets your needs. The small scale of a home garden allows intensive cultivation and succession planting, and can lead to square-foot yields that are simply not possible anywhere else.

Once we have a plan, it's time to break ground. We'll create attractive raised beds, set up automated irrigation, and if necesary install fencing to keep out hungry pests. On our weekly visits, we'll harvest ripe produce, apply mulch, plant new crops, eliminate weeds--whatever needs to be done. And once the weather turns cool, we can install row covers and cold frames for continued production and plant cover crops to build your soil's fertility for the next planting season.
